  • How can I become a member of the KYL online shopping website?
    Simply register for a membership by filling out relevant member information on the KYL online shopping website (Taiwan) to become a KYL member and start enjoying all the benefits of the general membership.
  • Why should I register to become an online member?
    By registering as an online member of the KYL online shopping website (Taiwan), you will be able to create your favorite list and postal address, enjoy fast and convenient online checkout, and subscribe newsletters to get notifications about our latest products and special offers on an occasional basis.
Product
  • Does the product contain alcohol?
    According to the product functions, aside from sunscreen serial products, no serial products contain any alcohol. For product ingredients, please refer to the detailed descriptions on the product pages.
  • What is the shelf life of each product?
    In general, the shelf life of KYL products is about 3 years, with each product type slightly different from other product types. After the product is opened, the shelf life becomes 1 year. Therefore, after the product is opened, our customers are recommended to finish the product within 1 year.
  • Does KYL products contain 100% natural ingredients?
    Our products are based on the natural ingredients of plants; however, no cosmetic products are “completely” natural, and at least they require antiseptic and preservation mechanisms to inhibit bacterial growth and ensure a long shelf life. Most of the ingredients of KYL products are extracted from nature; but if the ingredients are not found in nature, or can be made better in the laboratory, we will use artificial ingredients instead.
  • Does KYL perform tests on animals?
    No, since KYL upholds the concepts of nature, love the earth and environmental protection, we never performs product tests on animals. Testing is part of a series of clinical trials. For human skin, we perform a skin patch test instead.

  • What should I do if I forget my password?
    If you forget your password, you may visit the login page and select "forget password". After entering the email address you have filled out at the time of registration, we will send a new set of password to your email address.
  • Is it safe to provide my email address?
    All customer information is used internally to improve our product and service quality in the long run and not for commercial use. Once you enter your account name and password on the login webpage, you're free to adjust your personal information at any time.
  • How can I make adjustments to my member information?
    If there is a need to adjust your member information, please do so at the member center.
Shopping
  • Should I register as a member to place an order?
    In order to streamline the process, you don't need to register as a member to place an order. All you need to do is to put the products into the shopping cart directly. After completing your order, you may just fill out your personal information and place the order.
  • How can I know if I have ordered successfully? How can I check the order information?
    After you complete the ordering process, the system will issue an "Order Confirmation Letter" to your email address with your detailed ordering information and contact information, which means that you have placed an order successfully. If you want to check the order information, please click the "Order Inquiry" function in the member area to check the relevant information and progress of the current order processing.
  • Why can't I find my order in the "Order Inquiry" function?
    First of all, please confirm whether or not the order number, personal account, and password you entered are correct. If you still can't find your order even when the aforesaid information is correct and free of errors, please check the email address you have used for membership registration to see if you have indeed received an "Order Confirmation Letter". If you have not received the aforesaid letter, please contact our customer service personnel so that we can be at your service on time.
  • Why can't I find the "Order Confirmation Letter" in my email box?
    If you can’t find the Order Confirmation Letter in your email box, it may be that your email box automatically directs it to your spam. Please find the Order Confirmation Letter we have sent you in your spam and reset it as a safe mail (account). You may also log-in the internet to reset your email so that the same mistake won't happen the next time you place an order. <\br><\br> If your personal information is incorrect (for example, the email account is incorrect) or the order is not successful, it will also cause the "order confirmation letter" to be unreachable. Please click on the "Order Inquiry" function on the upper right corner of the webpage to check your transaction history. If this transaction record is established, it means that the order has been completed. Please check to see if the personal information you have left is correct.
  • What should I do if I order a product that has a problem or cannot be used?
    Since each person's skin has the different adaptability to beauty and skincare products, it is recommended that if you have any doubts about the product before ordering, you may ask the customer service staff . After Ordering, if there is any problem with the use of the product, you are advised to ask the customer service staff first, and we will sincerely explain the way you use it.
  • Order Confirmation
    KYL reserves the right to decide whether or not to accept your order. If KYL cannot accept your order due to wrong trading conditions or other circumstances, the customer service personnel will notify you directly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Payment
  • What kinds of payment methods are there?
    Currently, only online credit card payment is available. As long as you're a VISA / MasterCard / JCB holder, you are welcomed to pay by credit card on the KYL official website.
  • Is it safe to pay by credit card?
    Cashflow service provided on KYL official website is based on the “Verified by Visa (VbV)”, “MasterCard Secure Code”, and “J/Secure”. Since they are all safe shopping mechanisms verified by VISA, MasterCard and JCB, you can use it with a peace of mind.
  • Does VISA / MasterCard / JCB issued from abroad support credit card payments on the KYL official website?
    Regarding credit card issued from abroad, as long as you're a VISA / MasterCard / JCB holder, you can pay by credit card on the KYL official website.
  • After paying by credit card, why is the amount charged inconsistent with the amount shown on the KYL checkout page?
    When paying by credit card on the KYL official website, the amount will be calculated based on "New Taiwan Dollar" and shown on the checkout page in the currency of New Taiwan Dollar. Actual payment amount will be calculated based on the exchange rate adopted by the credit card company in charge. Also, if you see an additional charge on the credit card reconciliation statement, or if the amount charged is different from the amount you see on the checkout page, please contact your credit card company. If your credit card company believes that the transaction processing at KYL is international, you may be charged a cross-border fee. If these fees are accrued by your credit card company, KYL will not refund these payments.
  • Will there be a problem of exchange differences in cross-border transactions?
    If you use the Simplified Chinese version and the English version, the currency will be converted based on the exchange rate by the cashflow unit (according to the credit card company in charge). Exchange difference may be generated during the course of currency conversion, and your card-issuing bank may charge you a cross-border fee.
  • I have already ordered and paid, how long does it take before I can check the record?
    After completing the order, you may check your order record through the "order inquiry" function provided on the KYL official website.
  • My order status reveals an authorization failure, should I still need to pay for the credit card fee?
    The reason for this may be due to unclear factors such as network congestion or banking system problems, resulting in the system not receiving the order authorization code reported by the bank. Therefore, this order will be considered invalid and you don’t need to pay for the credit card fee. If you would like to purchase the product, please place another order.
  • Why does the page keep showing transaction failure when I place an order and pay by credit card online?
    You may contact our customer service staff first. If it is not a system failure, there may be a problem with your credit card. Please contact your credit card issuing bank if that is the case.
  • Will I get a uniform invoice?
    According to Value-added and Non-value-added Business Tax Act, KYL will not issue a uniform invoice but an order detail for you to verify against the products you ordered.
Shipping and Freight
  • How will the freight be calculated?
    If the place of delivery is not within the Taiwan Island, the ordered product will be sent by Chunghwa Post and will be charged for freight, fee, and regulatory fee. Freight calculated in accordance with the actual weight and volume provided on the order detail is slightly different from the actual freight. There will be neither refund for overcharged freight, nor will there be supplement for undercharged freight.
  • After placing an order, how long does it take before I can receive my product?
    Date of delivery is on the 14~21 working days after the shipping notice is sent out. You may check the shipping status through the "order inquiry" function provided in the member center of our website. In order to protect the integrity of the products, we will properly package the products you ordered. After receiving the products, please open the box to check whether the product package is intact without defect. If you want to check the shipping status, you can always check it through the "order inquiry" function provided in the member center of our website. Alternatively, you may call our customer service staff so that we can be at your service as soon as possible.
  • What should I do if I suddenly have the need to change the recipient address?
    If you have already completed the ordering process and placed an order, you cannot change the address directly in the "order inquiry" section. Please contact our customer service so that our customer service personnel can be at your service as soon as possible.
Product Return or Exchange
  • Since product return or product exchange is not applicable to the overseas buyers, please be extra careful before placing your order.
    If the overseas buyer pays on delivery and returns the product, KYL will refuse and you shall be liable for the freight and other relevant expenses. Due to the package limitation, some materials may appear to be uneven at the time of delivery due to slight collisions that take place during the course of shipment, which shall not be included in the scope of defects or damages.

KYL reserves the right to make the final decision on any dispute. KYL reserves the right to amend the contents of the above terms without prior notice.
